On Our Journey

It is tough to write a short summary about Namibia, as it’s one of our absolute favorites. Each time upon arrival, we are overcome by an immediate feeling of being home. The country, located on the southwest coast of Africa, is vast and sparsely populated, perfect for off road adventures in wild and stunning landscapes. Rich in natural resources, and dotted by red sand dunes and dried out riverbeds, it is home to some of the most magnificent animals on the planet, as well as several different tribes. Armed with a 4x4 vehicle, four spare tires, auxiliary fuel, a tent, a GPS, and of course, some wine to enjoy the sunsets, we had the unique experience of co-existing amongst some of the many wild animals there.
